BIS Al Olaya is a school in Riyadh, established in 2021. Our curriculum is based on the US Common Core Standards. BIS-AlOlaya provides learners with an active and engaging experience that embraces 21st century skills and recognizes that these skills are essential in an ever-changing world. We recognize the importance of preparing our students to become global citizens and providing them with an education that is meaningful and relevant to their personal, social and academic aspirations.

I am a firm believer in lifelong learning – every day is a learning opportunity. From an early age, my motto has been “aim high” and I look forward to instilling this belief in all of the young learners here at Al Olaya Excellence does not happen by chance; you have to work hard to achieve it. As educators, we must model this behaviour both inside and outside of the classroom. I graduated with a degree in English Literature and a Masters in Business Administration. Following twenty years in the publishing industry, I have held senior roles in schools in Qatar, Romania, China, Spain, and United Kingdom. I have returned to the Middle East after an absence of ten years and am looking forward to driving BIS Al Olaya forward enabling all students to fulfil their potential.
